CRP’s Madhab Memorial Vocational Training Institute is an extraordinary training institute for persons with disabilities. It was established in July 1999. The CRP MMVTI IS committed to having an increased number of people with disabilities (men and women) with enhanced skills, which enable them to find employment and thus achieve financial independence and decent living conditions. This institute is affiliated with Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).
At present we have five training centres in Rajshahi, Barisal, Chittagong, Ganakbari and Savar. and Manikgong centre is in under construction
The training is fully free and other facilities include food, accommodation and training materials. After successful completion of the training, we try to ensure their job placement. We also provide assistive devices, partial medical supports, therapeutic supports to the students. Trainees can participate in different sports, cultural programmes, outings and also gets the chance to attend many National and International events. From its founding, a total of 6500 trainees with different types of disabilities received vocational training from this institute. The institute has 19 qualified instructors 15 support staff and 170 trainees in different trades.
